The submission process is quite straightforward, with minimal extra steps required for submission. The peer review process is also relatively quick compared to other journals.

JHM has relatively straightforward submission guidelines. They do not require substantial formatting or for a lot of information to be manually inputted, making submission simple and not time-consuming.

Recently had an article accepted for publication at JHM. Their submission process was relatively painless, though they sent our manuscript back to us because we lacked some seemingly trivial details. During the revise and resubmit stage we did a ton of extra work and resubmitted. it then got bounced back to us asking we cut down the number of references and word count which was annoying. however, upon asking the editor if we could defer until later they obliged. hence the 5/5 rating !
