Very very painful pre submission asks. And very very slow to get peer reviewed. Currently on month 4 waiting for it.

Because it is a multidisciplinary journal, there is an incredibly long form with many fields not applicable to your study, yet they must all be addressed to submit. Some back and forth required if this is not done correctly. Slow turn around time. Would benefit from some sort of "select study type" dropdown that would auto create a form with only the relevant fields
